The rainy season is here and for my sensitive skin angels, I know most of us are experiencing skin peeling, the itchiness and skin dryness. Today I'm here to review a mask from a new brand called Kitohana, Aqua Gel Mask, to see whether this baby able to combat all my skin issues.
Kitohana is very generous and kind to send me a package of their moisture skincare line that is beautifully wrapped.
There is some sample size products, a full-size product (which is the star of today's show) and an instruction/steps to guide us on how to use their skincare, very helpful and thoughtful ❤
Their sample size are all in 5ml. For me, the amount of the sample size only able to use them a maximum of 3 times. You can bring them to a short escape haha!

As I mentioned above, today I am here to review their Aqua Gel Mask.
I must give some credit to the packaging designing team, the design of the box is clean and sleek.
It is very aesthetically pleasing.
Behind the box, you will find the ingredients list and the expiry date.

The aqua gel mask comes in a squeezy tube for easy access and very hygienic.
The aqua gel mask has a very typical skincare scent to it, nothing unpleasant.
If you look closely enough, the aqua gel mask has a ever so slightly tinted blue color to it. Once you spreading out the gel mask, it feels kinda watery and it feel super light weight on my skin. It has a slightly cooling effect on my skin as well.
I leave the aqua gel mask for 15 minutes as recommended after washing my face clean. Then wash it off with lukewarm water. If this you have never use a gel mask before, you may find it a bit difficult to wash it off. I usually like to wipe the gel mask off with my clean bare hands before washing my face with lukewarm water. That way, it is much easier to wash the gel mask off my skin.
After the aqua gel mask, my face feels soothed and hydrated. It does the job as mentioned, but nothing spectacular that makes me feel WOW because I do need to keep on applying the aqua gel mask every 2 days to keep my face looking "boing boing". Please do keep in mind that I have very dry skin at the moment, the results may be different with other skin condition. One thing I do like about the aqua gel mask is it feels refreshing every time after washing it off. Not only that, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all and it calms the redness on my skin. Most importantly, the aqua gel mask is safe for my sensitive skin. I didn't encounter any rashes nor breakouts. YAS!!!
