[ Review ] Benefit Fake Up Hydrating Crease-Control Concealer

Hello my muffins

I had heard a lot of great reviews on the Benefit Fake Up Concealer and finally I got my hands on it WOOHOO!

❤ Packaging

At the side of the packaging are the results observed by their consumer panel survey: 100% hydrates skin, 94% long-lasting, 97% lightweight formula, and 100% silky texture.

When you open it, you'll see something like picture shown  below.

Inside, you'll find the fake up concealer stick and their tips and tricks manual(?)

the product

The actual fake up concealer has a really cute packaging, it's in the lipstick package-wise. Sleekly packaged in the most shiny silver chrome tube and beautifully embossed with pretty pink scrolls all over. It's really convenient to throw into your make up bag for touch ups :)

As you can see, I got the 01 Light shade here. It contains 3.5g net of amount, for me is quite little for a pricey price tag :(

When you open up, you can see obviously a milky ring around the concealer. That's the hydrating ring which claims to keep you under eye hydrate and avoid creasing.

❤ Texture
The texture is really creamy soft! I must say I am really surprised and I'm in love with this product immediately♥ It glides on smoothly without feeling/looking heavy nor cakey. It managed to smooth over the lines and doesn't settle in them, which is a huge plus for me :D I wouldn't recommend for those who has oily skin cause for oily skin babes will definitely feel greasy with this product.

❤ Color

In my opinion, fake up is a great product for mild dark circles. The coverage is quite sheer but buildable to medium. As for the color selection, it's really limited as they have 3 shades only: Light, Medium and Dark. For me, the shade Light is kinda too light for me and the Medium shade is too tan for me, so the color is quite a turn off. But still, you can use for eye brightening though.

❤ Swatch

Can you see the sides of the concealer? It's really dewy and hydrating which I love!

❤ Overall
All in all, I'm really impressed and surprised that this concealer really does keep your under eye hydrated and it doesn't settle into the lines. But, I am really turn off by their limited color shades cause the lightest shade is too light for me while the medium shade is too tan for me BOOHOO! and the staying power is not really that long-lasting as they claim I must say, about 3-4 hours of wearing time for me only, I have to keep touching up with this concealer.

But overall, I'm still liking this concealer because of the hydration! I would recommend for those who has dry skin.
