Monthly Favorites for Sept & Oct 2014

Hello gorgeous
I hope you all are doing well :)

So this post is my September and October favorites. I have products that I newly discovered and I've been loving them in these 2 whole months. I haven't done any monthly favorites post since August from last year (oops!) that is because when I found something I really like, I tend to stick with them for a very long time.

Anyway, let's get started!

Clockwise: Sleek Makeup Vintage Romance eyeshadow palette, 3CE Lip Glass, Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in creme 725 Love That Red, Dr. Jart+ Nourishing Black Label BB Cream, Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Edge Meisfer mascara, Etude House Bling Bling eyeshadow stick in Gold, Cyber Colors Quick Dry top coat nail polish, Etude House peel off base coat nail polish, Etude House top coat nail polish, 3CE PINK EDITION Lip Color in 408 Chu Chu.

Sleek Makeup Vintage Romance eyeshadow palette review will be coming up soon!
Check out my Sleek Makeup Vintage Romance eyeshadow palette review HERE :D

I am not really a lip gloss fan cause my lips get allergy from all the fragrance and this 3CE Lip Glass, does not! That is why I am loving it♥ I have done a review for it, if you are interested, you can check it out over HERE.

I do find myself using a lot of red lipstick lately, especially Revlon's Love That Red. I like to wear it like the just-bitten-lips effect so that I won't scare people off cause, in my hometown, people like super light and natural makeup only (too bad). And with the just-bitten-lips effect, it kinda gives me that Korean feel -ish LOL! I even done a review for it, you can check it out over HERE if you are interested :P

Next is Dr. Jart+ Nourishing Black Label BB Cream. If you know me, I have really sensitive and dry skin, that is why I am really picky when it comes to base/face products. I have done some research online about this BB cream before and majority says that this BB cream suitable for winter time because of it's thick consistency and will keep your face moisturize all day. So I give it a try and I fell in love with it! It didn't break me out and most importantly, it IS very moisturizing on my face and I don't see my dry patches. Remember my Hong Kong trip on September? I used this BB cream everyday and my skin feels moisturized the whole day! I always have dry skin when I travel, don't know why, maybe it's because of the different weather? You can go check out more details in my review over HERE :)

Moving on is my Holy Grail mascara! I am LOVING this mascara♥ It lengthens my lashes and a bit of volume. It makes my lashes looks really pretty, it's like wearing a natural false eyelashes haha!

The brush head is a comb type and you can see they have a lot of fibers in it. I know there are many lengthening mascaras out there that offer a lot of fibers too but they don't really stick well on my lashes and lots of fall outs! But not this one, this one sticks perfectly on my lashes :)

And their packaging are absolutely gorgeous and details! I really recommend this one and girls, you have to try this one out! You can easily find this in your local Watson store or Sasa *wink*

Moving on is Etude House Bling Bling Eyeshadow stick in Gold. I remember the first one I bought was when I travel to Taiwan and it's in light pink color. I swatch once in store and I didn't really look at other colors cause I was in a rush. When I got back home and try it out, I was sooooo regret that I didn't bought the other shades! It was soooo pretty and easy to use, plus, it's super cheap! So when I travel to Hong Kong, I bought myself a gold color one. The other colors didn't really caught my attention :(

I use it in my inner tear duct to brighten my eyes or on my eyelid as a eyeshadow base or just a wash of (pretty) color by blending them. Not to mention these eyeshadow sticks stay put on my eyes really well *thumbs up*

blended

If you are running late for work or date, give this a try. All you need to do is just apply it on the eyelid, use your ring finger to blend it out, no harsh line please, and you are done with eyeshadow! Easy and fast! I'm not sure if Malaysia's Etude House carries these eyeshadow sticks or not, but you can check it out :)

Cyber Color Quick Dry top coat nail polish, Etude House peel off base coat nail polish and Etude House clear top coat nail polish have become my favorite nail polish trio combo lately. I use the Etude House peel off base coat first, then I apply any color nail polish I like, then I top it off with my Etude House clear top coat. To make my nail polish dry faster, I layer my Cyber Color quick dry top coat. I usually don't polish my nails in the night time cause it takes a very long time dry and I feel like wasting my time to wait the nail polish to dry. With the Cyber Color quick dry top coat, I don't have to worry about the drying time anymore! It definitely dries up my nail polish faster and I wish I discover this earlier. The Etude House peel off base coat, OMG, have you ever try to remove glitter nail polish? It takes me like, FOREVER to remove glitter nail polish! I always like glittery nails but I hate the removing process. Thank God I discover this peel off base coat, it save me lots of time from removing them. All you need to do is just scrap the edge of the nail polish and it will comes off nicely! No nail remover needed! AWESOME!!!

Last but not least, 3CE PINK EDITION Lip Color in 408 Chu Chu. This is a really pretty lipstick color, and I mean reeeeaaaaaaally pretty XD
I use it when I'm not feeling the red lip mood and I apply it with the just-bitten-lip effect, it's soooo pretty and much more girly look. I also done a review for this, you can check out the swatches over HERE.

That's all for my September and October's favorites! I hope you all enjoy it and tell me in the comment box down below or my Facebook/Twitter/Instagram, what's your favorites of the month?

I'll see you in my next post and Happy November :D

August Monthly Favourites ♥

Hello sweety^^

September is coming real soon and today I wanna show you my August favorites. I am really excited to show you because I have finally found my Holly Grail eyeliner! Woohoo~!

I'm going to start with my Holly Grail eyeliner ♥

Yes it's the Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner!!!
At first I never thought that this eyeliner can be my HG because, let's be honest, look at the price! It's soooooo cheap (under RM 20, I know, can you believe that?) compare with my previous HG eyeliner. I have oily eyelids and most of the sebum-proof or waterproof eyeliner don't work really well for me after 1-2 hours of wearing. I have to use some tricks to make them stay put and not running around as I have panda eyes :( But this eyeliner really stay put really well on my eyes and I'm in love haha :D
I use it all the time when I need some eyeliner to brighten up my sleep eyes. I wish they will come out in the brown shade for something softer than the bold black eyeliner.

Next product I'm loving this month is yet another Maybelline product, the Falsies Volume Express Mascara.

This mascara really look like I'm wearing false eyelashes. I really like this formula more than the Magnum one. This doesn't even smudge under my eye and it's really easy to remove it :)

When I'm not feeling like wanna wear any mascara kind of day, I like to put on the clear mascara from Skin Food for the wet eyelashes look.

Sorry for the dirty stain :P
I find this particular clear mascara actually can hold my eyelashes curl up nicely compare with the other clear mascara I had tried.

Moving on to my favorite lippy of the month is MAC's Russian Red.

I find myself using this for gradation look for quite a while. I like the matte texture but not matte until chapped your lips, of course you still need to apply some lip balm before applying the lipstick *wink*

My favorite eyeshadow of the month, I actually have 2 here, are Naked and Buck from the UD Naked palette 1

I use the color naked as my eyebrow powder and the color buck for my everyday eyeshadow :)

Next The Face Shop Make Me Star waterproof gel liner.

This eyeliner is really pretty (sorry I forgot the name and code for it). It's perfect for highlighting the inner corner of the eyes.

Here is the swatch :)

Isn't that pretty with the sparkling tiny glitters? The best part is, it's really waterproof too☆

Last is a product from Holika Holika, Pig-nose black head clear.

I like the pink and cute packaging^^ This product is recommend from my cousin. She said that this product clear away all your blackheads and exfoliate the dead skin too and, it really works on me and I use this once a week. You just need a little bit amount of it and scrub in circular motion on your nose.

Here's a close up :)

The texture is like sugar and it melt real fast when react with water. So before using this product, I need to make sure my nose is not wet.

I hope you found something new to try here and thank you for reading^^

Have a nice weekend *muackxz*

Monthly Favourites♡

Hello lovelies♥♥♥
Okay I know I've skip from last year until now about the monthly favorites post. Cause I have few only for every month so, I'm going to combine everything for this month post :)

Before I start, here's an overview what I got for these past few months...

I'm going to start randomly~

The first one is Hada Labo make up remover

This make up remover is similar as the Biore Make Up Remover Perfect Oil. But, this one after you rinse it with water, you're face will feel super soft! Just like baby skin :)
I love this product so much cause it doesn't only remove all my make up easily and quickly, but make my skin feels real good. After using this, my face didn't break out or get any allergy. Unlike the Biore, I get rashes and very itchy. The price for this is very affordable too*thumbs up!*

Next is a hair product from L'Oreal Smooth-Intense Anti-frizz Serum

This product is similar with my previous favorite Dove Intense Repair leave on cream but, the reason why I love this product is because it doesn't weight my hair down. Leaves my hair silky, sleek and manageable. You can apply it onto your wet or dry hair. I prefer use this after blow drying my hair hehe...

Okay the next favorite is a little bit personal. But I like to share with you guys whoever has armpit odor. I must confess that yes, I have armpit odor under a hot weather when I sweat like crazy urgh! I hate it so much! When I was in younger age, the moment I discover I have armpit odor, I felt embarrassing and it's like the end of the world. Then, my mum told me it's okay and majority people do has armpit odor and bought me my first deodorant. Years past and the deodorant don't work for me now, even other brands I had tried such as, Rexona, Nivea etc. They make my armpit sucks! The odor even stinks, my armpit got blacken and even worst, I got allergy on my armpit. How funny is that? So I stop using deodorant for long time and whenever I sweat a lot, I just go clean up my armpit with wet tissue or sprites some perfume.

Recently, I discovered Total Image, Smelly-No-More Natural Crystal Roll On Deodorant Stick...

I bought in random pharmacy store cause I saw the packaging said 300% more effective than commercial deodorant and most importantly, it's Hypo-allergenic alcohol free! So I thought hmm...maybe I should give this thing a try. The price is woohoo~ much more expensive than the other deodorant. I honestly didn't put too much expectation on this deodorant but surprisingly, it works!!! It doesn't make my skin allergy and most importantly, it does really eliminates odor for good! I love this baby *big heart*

Oh! And you have to wet the surface of the stone with water before apply directly on your armpit.

Moving on to my next favorite is The Face Shop Clean Face, Clear Away Spot

This baby really clear away all your acne, blemishes. Loooooove it!
You have to use a cotton butt dip until the bottom of the bottle and then, just dot on your problem area. I don't really suggest to use this in the morning cause you don't want your face full of white dots and shock everyone. So, it's better to use this in the night time :)
And remember, DO NOT SHAKE! This baby don't need shake to activate.

Moving on to my favorite eye care. Rohto eye drop

I get veins easily on my eyes cause, my eyes are quite sensitive especially when I focus on something for too long. This eye drop soothes my eyes and contact lens friendly and not to mention cute convenient packaging too :)

Finally, the next favorite is make up product from Candy Doll, mineral powder

Candy Doll was produced by a Japanese most popular modal and a mum, Tsubasa Masuwaka. She's a living doll! She is perfect *envy jelly* This particularly mineral powder is different from other brand. The powder is soooo micro and goes on really well on my skin. It gives you the baby smooth looking skin. This powder has 2 version, 1 is the original one (picture above) and another one is pink color packaging. The pink one is with a tiny little sparkle in it and I am not fancy with that cause I am worry that will make my face looks like a disco ball@@ haha!

My favorite eyeliner of the month(s) is, I have 3 actually...
The first one is Gino McCray Heritage, Liquid Liner. I bought this from Thailand so it's not available in Malaysia. I got the black color one. This eyeliner really stay put well on my oily eyelids. I super love it but too bad I purchase one only and I'm running out soon, SOB!

2nd is Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in Brown. I'm really into brown eyeliner lately... It gives natural, well I can't say super natural but less harsh, yea that's the word, less harsh than black liner. This brown eyeliner stay put pretty okay for my oily eyelids.

And the 3rd one is Makemania Brown pencil eyeliner. I bought this from SASA and the price is really expensive for a pencil eyeliner. But who cares if this eyeliner really stay put well on my oily eyelids. This eyeliner claims will stay put well on oily eyelids and smudge proof. Well, I can't it really stay put well but, okay. The color really nice and easily glides on. So I like it~

Moving on to lip product. Recently, I'm really into lip tint products. It does stay on well on my lips and they are great to make gradient effect. The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Milky Tint. I got the no.1 and no.3 shades.

They're in pink color and peachy coral color. I didn't get the no.3 shade cause it's too cherry red>< They give you the natural tinted look, unlike lipstick. If you apply lipstick, it's like...BAM! I have my lipstick on. But for lip tint, it gives you the soft natural looking :) They are very light weight and won't feel the lips very dry too.

The next favorite lip product is Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. I got the shade 040 Rendezvous

For this lip tint, is in stick form. This chubby lip tint stick has a minty flavor and it's quite drying, unlike the other lip tint. So I have to moisturize my lips by applying a few layer of lip balm before apply this chubby lip tint stick. But the staying power is super good!

Lastly, another lip tint favorite from Stylenanda 3 Concept Eyes Lip Pigment. I got the #Mellow Pink and #Bright Orange shades.

Among all the lip tint, these are my most favorite one. These baby can mix to get another color, just like art! Not only that, they can use as cheek tint, eyeshadow and even eye liner!!! The staying power is super good *big heart* I really recommend these lip pigment. I know they look very tiny in real life and the price is quite expensive too but, they worth the price! Cause you just need a little amount to apply and you'll get the beautiful shade. Not to mention you can multi-use too^^

It's not easy to get these in Malaysia, but you can get them at
>>> facebook.com/shop.missberry Stylenanda 3CE <<<

I hope you like my monthly favorites and find it helpful :)
What's your monthly favorite?

I love December! Cause to me, December = CHRISTMAS

So anyway, here's my November favorites :D

-Naked Urban Decay
Still loving this eyeshadow palette! Perfect for any occasion.

-Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System
Still using this everyday for cleansing my face before I head to bed. My skin really feel good after using this.

-Oriental Princess Beneficial Oriental Eyes, Eyes-Catching Liner in White
I apply this in the corner of my eyes and make my eyes look more awake and a little bit of Ulzzang feel hehe...

-Elianto Nail Color in S07
Im loving this nail polish! It's a purple-lilac color. A little color for fall season :)

-Hadalabo Lip Balm
Still loving this! Use it everytime when I am going out. Keep my lips moisturize and no more chapped lips.

-Melliesh Blush in MECH-03
I really love this blush. It work perfectly for cute gyaru look. It's very pigmented which I love. But have to be very careful not to apply too much cause it will look too much and not pretty.

-Kevin Beauty Maker Lipstick in Sweet Pink
I love this lipstick is because not only the color is nice, it is also very moisturizing. Very smooth texture :)

What is your favorite of the month? Hehe~

October Beauty Favourites

Halo loveys :) So today I decided to blog my October Beauty Favourites. I can't believe it's November already, like where did the time even go and just over a month it's going to be Christmas! Yay! I'm so excited for Christmas every year I don't know why XP

Okay, I'm going to jump right into my October Beauty Favorites now...

Products shown :
The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist
The Face Shop Quick & Clean Oil Free Sun Cream SPF 35 PA++
Ettusais Pore Smooth Concealer
Missha Signature Real Complete B.B Cream
Urban Decay Naked Palette
Clinique Comfort On Call Sensitive Skin Relief Cream
Majolica Majorca Jeweling Pencil in BR606 and 71
Kiss Me Heroine Make Liquid Eyeliner
Hada Labo Lip Balm/Chap-stick
Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss Neo in PK 143
Kate Rouge HD Lipstick in PK-21
Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

Last month (October) I keep feeling unwell and this The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist really brighten my days :) When I'm not feeling good, I just have a few sprites around me and I feel everything is fine. The scent is so divine! It's like, tasting Vanilla ice-cream with your nose, is that make sense to you? Haha! I'm not good in describing scents, please bare with me. But this body mist is really really good and you should try it yourself to feel what I feel about it.

To be honest, I had stop apply sun cream for almost a 10 months (Oh my...) The last time I apply I remember is before Chinese New Year. The reason I stop applying it is because... I am so damn LAZY pig T.T And I tend to sweat a lot in hot days, I feel like, I'm going to sweat like crazy and what's the point of applying it? I notice that my face pop out a lot of dark spots lately so I found this sun cream during my haul in KL and I was thinking Oh what the heck, just apply it already. I was surprised when I apply it. I never thought that this sun cream is so...clean when you apply it on your face. It doesn't feel any stickiness or shine like a disco ball. It feels so good, so refreshing, matte and it control my sebum (now that a PLUS!). What I like about this sun cream is it provides SPF 35 PA++ protection. It also infused with Tea Tree (my favs), Aloe Vera, Chamomile and White Birch extracts. Good for sensitive skin like mine.

Now, in generation like now don't really know a brand call Ettusais anymore. This brand is actually very popular during the 90's I believe? I bought this pore smooth concealer for a year ago and I didn't really use it cause it feels...nothing on my face for a blood sucking price! It's really expensive for a normal pore concealer. But suddenly I give it another try last month cause my pores are so obviously nowadays, thanks to my bad condition skin. And it works! Compare with other brands I tried, this one glides on so perfect on my skin although the coverage wasn't full, means that it's not heavy feeling on your face. It feels so nice, smooth and light-weight most importantly. So for those who has obvious pores, you might want to give this product a try :)

I remember showing you guys my everyday face makeup routine (if you haven't read it yet, here's the link to it^^) that I love using The Face Shop Blemish Balm, I run out of it (sad) so I tried something new, Missha Signature Real Complete BB Cream. My shade is in No.21 Light Pink Beige. A little bit too bright for my skin tone, but the darker shade is way too tan for my skin tone so I decided to choose lighter over the darker one. The first time I apply it, I was thinking Oh it's going to be the same texture as the Skin79, but I was hell wrong! Although the texture wasn't the same as The Face Shop one, but I like the fact that this product is more watery, light and good coverage. That's good cause I wanna hide my freckles :P I don't know what ingredients they put cause I don't understand or read Korean Words. You guys might need to Google search this product. It doesn't break my skin so, I'm going to continue using it to replace my previous BB cream.

Naked Palette! I loooove this palette so much! It contains everything neutral color that you need. From day makeup to night smokey makeup. As everyone said, the pigmentation and everything about this palette is freakingly AWESOME! There's no need to say more about this palette :) I use the shadow ''Virgin'' a lot! I use it as my highlight for my nose, my inner tear ducts area and my cupid's bow. It works perfectly, no complain. I also used the shadow ''Sin'' and ''Sidecar'' on my upper eyelid. The color is soooo beautiful and that's what I do almost everyday (if I did go out).

My skin gets allergy quite a lot, cause I keep having seafood that I should not eat so frequently. But the taste of the prawns are sooo delicious that I could not keep away from them anymore. Thanks to this baby, it really relief my itchy face and neck. Sometimes, when the weather is super hot like 100 degree outside, my skin gets allergy quite easily too, BOOHOO! I always apply this cream if I'm not taking any allergy pills. Too much pills, not healthy for body ><

Love this 2 Majolica Majorca Jeweling Pencils when I'm in a rush. I apply the Brown one close to my lash line and wing it out a bit and the Champagne one on my inner corner of my eyes to brighten up my sleepy eyes XD

Here's a swatch for you guys...
I took the picture with flash :)
Can you see how pretty is the Champagne one? It's so glittery~

What I like about the Kiss Me Heroine Make liquid eyeliner is they have a very thin and fine brush! Easy for drawing wing liner and this baby is super waterproof! I have oily eyelids and this eyeliner stay on longer than the other eyeliner I had tried before :)

I mentioned about Hada Labo Lip Moisturizer before in my Favorite Lip Combo, you can refer to this post

http://missberry9188.blogspot.com/2012/06/current-favorite-lip-combo-0619.html

I have been using this 2 lip product frequently for the past month. Love using these, they give you the natural pinkish tone lips :) Did I mention that the Kate Rouge HD is fragrance-free? It's allergy-proof for my sensitive lips!

Here's the swatch...
As you can see, the gloss is like nudy pinkish tone with a very fine glitters. But when you apply on your lips, you can barely see any glitters on it. I don't like to have a lot of glitters and big chunk of them on my lips, it feels like so many things happening on my lips. As for the lipstick, it's so natural sweet light pink color with a little bit of glitters too. When you apply the lipstick, it doesn't feel dry or anything, it glides on smoothly on your lips :)

I love using this to clean my face before heading to bed. It really cleanse your skin, every pores! This baby really helps me diminish a lot of pimples and dirt on my face. After using it, you can feel how soft your skin can be, no lie :) I'm going to do a separate blog post about this baby. So stay tune^^

Sorry it's a long blog post but I do hope you enjoy :)
What's your October Beauty Favorites?

Everyday Face Routine

So I get lots of questions about what I use for my foundation routine. Some say seems like I apply nothing on my face but I actually did. I always apply concealer (at least) to camouflage my imperfections such as dark circles.

Here are the products I use for my everyday face routine :)

Products Use:
The Face Shop Quick & Clean Oil-Free Blemish Balm
ZA Concealer Perfection
MAC's Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
L'egere Aqua & Shiny Pearl Blemish Balm Powder
Etude House HD Powder in No.6
Artistry Cheek Color in Pink Passion

I prefer to use Blemish Balm Cream, as known as BB Cream, over foundation. I also prefer Asian branded BB creams over the more newer Western brands. I find the Asian brands grasp the concept better, offering an amazing coverage (of course depends on which brand, some with sheer coverage and some with medium coverage) and skincare benefits at the same time whilst Western BB creams are more like tinted moisturizers only.

Now, most of the people only apply BB cream, but I set mine with 2 types of powder. Because in Malaysia, we always have summer days and 2-3 months of rainy days. During hot sunny days, my face will get super oily, especially the T-zone area and this cause the BB cream on the face turns to ashy greyish tone. That's why I need the finishing powder to set everything and trust me, the powder does help *wink*
I use 2 types of powders, MAC one is for set everything and L'egere one is for some shine but not oily those kind of shine. So the face won't look so plane.

The purple powder is actually function as brightener or highlight, not a blush. Most people thought it was a blush but it's not. I did not use any shading powder or bronzer cause I have long face shape, so shading powder is no use for me. As for the bronzer, I do not really like my face to look so tan. Well, most asian female like to have fair skin tone so no bronzer for me :) I might use it in the future, just maybe XP

As for the cheeks, I try to keep it simple and natural looking. I find that this color suit my skin tone best so, yea^^

What is your everyday face routine? Or you prefer to be au natural no any even tiny bit of makeup?

Berry
