Mermaid Heart Braid Hair Tutorial

Hello gorgeous

So, it's that time of the year where you can feel the love is in the air! With Valentine's Day just a few days away, I'm going to show you how to do a Mermaid Heart Braid hairstyle that I saw Xiaxue had 2 weeks ago. When I first saw the hairstyle, I was like, I need to re-create that hairstyle, it's soooo adorable!!!♥ And it's perfect for this Valentine's Day :)

I must say that this hairdo is really simple and it took me around 3 minutes only, except for curling the ends of my hair of course. You can wear it straight or curly. In my case, I like it curly at the ends of my hair cause my hair is too long and boring. Without any further ado, let's start with the hair tutorial ;)

1. First, you wanna tie 2 strands of hair from the side of your both ears into 1 as shown on picture no.1 . Here's a tip, remember not to tie them to tightly, otherwise your heart shape doesn't look nice.
2. Next, grab another strand of hair from the side of the ear.
3. OK, here's the tricky part. With my right hand, I'll grabbing the new strand of hair that I grabbed earlier, And with my left hand, I use my pointy finger to sit on top of the new strand of hair and then reach up from the bottom of the first strand of hair we that tied earlier.
4. After that, you want your thumb to join in with your pointy finger and grabbing the new strand of hair.

5. Then, you wanna tuck the new strand of hair through. And you will have something like this.
6. Same for the right side. Grab a new strand of hair from the side of the ear.
7. With my left hand, I'll grabbing the new strand of hair that I grabbed earlier, And with my right hand, I use my pointy finger to sit on top of the new strand of hair and then reach up from the bottom of the first strand of hair we that tied earlier.
8. After that, you want your thumb to join in with your pointy finger and grabbing the new strand of hair.

 9. Then, you wanna tuck the new strand of hair through. And you will have something like this. Now taking all 3 strands of hair, secure them with an elastic and basically, you are finish with the hairdo!

You can either use a small strand of hair and wrap around the elastic just to hide it. But I'm not going to bother it when it's on my own hair. Because I can't see well at the back of my head and it's really tired for me to keep holding the mirror to check the back of my head.

So, here is the finish look on me :D

I hope you all enjoy this hairstyle as much as I do
Show me your pictures if you try to re-create this hairdo, that will be lovely! Make sure to tag me in my Instagram or Facebook or Twitter, all the link at the side bar ;)

Happy Valentine's Day everyone

3 Tricks For Beautiful Beach Waves

Hello gorgeous♥

Did you have an awesome summer time? I literally sweat my pants off with all the heat in Malaysia, as we have no 4 seasons. We only have 2 seasons, summer and rainy days haha! I really wish I could experience winter season, build a snowman, have snowball fight and watch the snow fall :)

Anyway, whenever we mention about Summer, we will thought about Summer hair = beach waves. I love having beach waves, it always makes our overall look more free-spirited and naturally beautiful. They look fabulous on bohemian style dress day or at a move of polished fancy affair. Basically, anyone can rock the look!

So, this post is going to show you how to get beautiful beach waves with 3 tips and tricks *wink*

1. BRAIDING YOUR HAIR

This is the most easiest way to create beach waves, not to mention, it is very long lasting too!
You can french braid your hair the night before, then loosen your braid the next morning and you will have beautiful beach waves :D

Tips: You can spray your hair with little bit of water, slightly damp, but not soaking wet and then braid your hair and go to bed with the braid in. This will make your beach waves look more shiny and pretty.

The affect will be more of a back and forth wave instead of a tousled, windblown look.

2. TWISTED BUN

Basically, you just have to twist your hair into a bun or create 3-4 little buns (depending on the thickness of your hair) by dividing your hair into sections and secure them with bobby pins.
Once you have taken down your buns, run your fingers through your hair and you are ready to go! Make sure you leave your buns for few hours before taking them down or you can sleep in with your buns and taking them down the next morning :)

3. USE CURLING WAND

If you are in a hurry and have no time to do the 2 above methods, you can always use a curling wand to achieve the beach waves. For those who have the clamp on the curling tool, it's okay. You don't need to go and buy a new clamp-less curling wand. You can just use it as if the clamp wasn't there :D
Grab a piece/section of hair, twist it around the wand and wait 10-15 seconds, then let go. You will be left with flawless beautiful beach wave.

All 3 methods above will leave you with effortlessly chic hair!
I hope you enjoy this kind of post and find it helpful :)

How I Dye My Hair

Hello loves♥
How are you all doing? I hope you all doing well :)

Can't believe that time has passed soooo fast and it's August already!
Today I am going to blog about how I dye my hair and what hair dye product I use, as a lot of you requested for a long time and many times. I am so sorry that it took me so long to blog about it cause I haven't dye my own hair for quite a long time. Well, usually I do dye my own hair at home. But after I got the pink highlights, I have no idea how to get rid of it so I went to a hair salon for help. After about 4 months, I believe, my roots are growing out a lot now. And it is time for me to get a new hair color too :D

I usually dye my hair once in about 3-4 months, it depends on how fast my ugly roots grow. I know many of you are really curious about what hair dye product I use.

Tadah~!!!!

I use Liese Bubble Hair Dye♥
I use this all the time! Unless I want to get crazy color that's unavailable in the Liese bubble hair dye color chart XP This time I choose the color in Marshmallow Brown.

The reason why I like to use Liese bubble hair dye is because they always make my hair feel super soft and manageable.Unlike some other hair dye makes your hair really dry.

I do recommend that if you have really dark hair, try get a shade lighter. If not, you can check out the back of the box, you can roughly see how your hair color looks like after. Now, some people ask me about, how I choose the color and how to make the hair color look natural. The answer is, I really don't know XP I just simply choose the color from the Liese bubble hair color chart by what I like. And how to make it look natural? Erm... Well... I think you won't go wrong with the Liese bubble hair dye.

Because this is a bubble hair dye, it is different from the normal hair dye. You can read the instruction and steps from the box or the instruction guide that comes with it inside the box. Remember to read the instruction well before you start using the bubble hair dye.

So inside the box, it comes with an instruction guide, 2 bottles of the hair dye solutions, a rinse off treatment, a pair of gloves etc.

Before I start the hair dyeing process, I wash my hair with shampoo and blow-dry. After that, I wear a dark T-shirt ( you can wear T-shirt that you don't want anymore ) because it will stain your shirt.

After that, I will mix the hair dye solutions and get the hair dyeing process started.

When I squeeze the bottle, foam will come out and I apply it onto my hair generously.

I start from the root because that's the part where my hair is the darkest shade. I don't have to worry about getting the color stain on my scalp, this bubble hair dye won't stain my scalp unlike other normal hair dye does.

After I coat my hair evenly with the bubble hair dye, I put up a bun on top of my head and wait for 20 minutes to 25 minutes top. Then I rinse my hair with water, I shampoo my hair and use the rinse-off treatment.

So this is how my hair color looks like right now with indoor lighting :)

The color is much lighter than my previous hair color and as for the previous pink highlights, now they look like ashy green color. I did not purposely dye them ashy green color, the color comes out just like that. I guess it's because I bleach them before and dyed them pink so... yea!

And this is how my hair color looks like right now with the outdoor lighting.
If you are curious about my outfit, my top is from Kitschen, bottom is from U Bay at Time Square and flats from Hush Puppies.

I hope this blog post answer your questions about my hair color and hope you find it helpful *thumbs up* Thank you for visiting and if you have more questions, feel free to ask me by leaving a comment below or message me/tweet me... anyway you like it :D

Princess Aurora Hair Tutorial Inspired by Disney's Maleficent

Hello loves
I hope you all doing well :)

Me and my friends went to watch the Disney's Maleficent movie and I had watched 3 times now XD After watched it for 3 times, I have to do Princess Aurora hair tutorial! The inspiration for this hair style comes from a few scenes of Princess Aurora when she was in the Moors, if you notice/remember.

This hair style is really simple and easy to achieve. If you are interested with this hair style and want to learn how to achieve it, please continue scroll down :)

*Don't forget you can always view larger pictures by clicking it*
*Please excuse my weird looking face as I have no make up on while shooting the tutorial*

Let's start!

1. Aurora has beautiful curls framing her face, so for this hair style, you need to curl your hair into soft curls. For some of you don't know how to curl your hair, you can always use the Babyliss Pro hair curler at HERE.

2. We are going for a soft look so grabbing a section of hair about an inch above the ear.

3. Start making a soft and loose rope braid. If you don't know what and how to rope braid, I have done a rope braid tutorial previously and you can check it our HERE.

4. After done the rope braid, secure it with an elastic band.

5. Do the same thing at the other side of the head and secure two of the rope braids with an elastic band as shown as picture above.

6.To make the rope braid more softer, lose em up a bit.

7. You can even grab a piece of hair and wrap it around the elastic band to hide it.

8. You can add some hairspray and flowers to finish up the hair style.

And you are finish!

Easy and simple right? Here's a close up for the hair style...

I hope you enjoy this hair tutorial and found it helpful :)
I absolutely love this hair style! What do you think about it? Do you like it?

French Rope Braid Tutorial

Hello loves

So the weather is getting kray kray over here and I came up with this hair tutorial to keep the fringe or bangs away from our face yet looking fabulous *thumbs up**wink*

As seen on the title, I am going to show you how to french rope braid, with your fringe or bangs :)
I remember having a rope braid hair tutorial back in 2012 and if you are interested, you can check it out HERE.

Let's start with the tutorial, shall we :)

1. Part your hair to a side.
2. Grab about an inch section of hair.
3. Split it into 2 sections, top and bottom.

4. Remember how to rope braid? If no, you can learn it HERE. To make a rope braid, you have to twist both of the sections in the same direction. In my case, I twist them towards my face.
5. Here's the tricky part. Now you have to place the front section of hair over the back section. It's like crossing them away from your face.
6. Then, add some hair to the bottom section. You can see from the picture that the bottom section has more hair now. And don't forget to twist it towards your face.
7. After that, cross them away from your face, repeating Step 5.
8. Repeat Step 6. Always remember to twist it towards your face after adding some hair to the bottom section.
9. Repeat Step 5. Cross both sections away from your face.

10. Do the normal rope braid until the length you prefer.
11. Secure it with a elastic band.
12. Adjust the hair for final touching.

And you are finished!
For myself, I like to use a bobby pin or mini hair clip to clip the rope braid at the back of my head to look something different :)

I have tried my best to describe every step and I hope you found this helpful. Thank you for your visit and I shall end this with some shameless selfies haha!

Remember to send me a picture or tag me in your Instagram/Facebook if you try out this look :D

Elsa Inspired Hair Tutorial (From Frozen) | Voluminous French Braid

Hello sweetie

As you can see on the title, yes, finally I am going to make a hair tutorial that so many of you requested since like, December from last year. I honestly love love LURF the movie! And I probably watched the movie 5 times already haha! I want to apologize for the delay, because I cut my hair quite short and unable to do the hairstyle. But now, my hair is long enough to do the Elsa's hair. I know that there are so many tutorials for Elsa's hair already, but I still hope you will enjoy my version of it :D

This hairstyle might looks like a normal french braid hair, but it actually is more glamorous looking french braid hair.

If you want to know how I do it, please keep on scrolling down^^

First, divide your hair into 2 sections as shown as above.

Next, take a section of hair from behind...

and start back combing. Back combing is the same thing as teasing your hair :)

After that, comb your hair all the way back. I know it looks messy but trust me, back combing the hair gives more volume to the hair as Elsa's hair is really voluminous in the movie!

Grab your hair into a half up-do as shown as above and start french braiding it. If you don't know how to french braid, I have a tutorial for it previously and you can watch it here :D

After that, you are basically finished!

This is how the back looks like.

And of course, I will show you how it looks like when it's on me :)

And the other side looks like this...

I hope you like my version of Elsa's hair tutorial and thank you for dropping by~
I shall end this with another selfie haha!

My Pink Hair Story

Good day sweeties
I hope you all are doing well~

Today, finally I get to blog about my pink hair which was highly requested by ya all :D
I wanna apologize to you that it took me quite a long time to write this blog post. Because I actually have to wait until my pink hair fades badly and re-dye them :( So I can show you the process of me getting my pink hair redone :D

Okay, when the pink hair fades, they really fades badly...

Can you see? It's like...sad sad salmon pink!!! SOB! WHY YOU NO STAY LONGER?

I got my pink hair done at the hair salon for the first time back in September or October 2013. The result was amazing! Then, the 2nd time I got my pink hair done by my mum (just to save money, cause it's kinda expensive to dye just a few strands of pink highlights in the hair salon). The result was so-so only, but it dries my hair like crazy. Because the hair dye we bought is in powder form. So lesson learn, never ever buy a hair dye that's in powder form. It's cheap and dries your hair like hell!

This time(Jan 13th, 2014), I'm gonna get my pink hair done back at the hair salon. So I can say, I dyed my pink hair 3 times now. To get the nice pink color, first they bleach away the remaining ugly pink hair.

After bleaching my hair, this is how my hair looks like. I know, they look dead and frizzy ==
Then they start applying the pink dye on my hair...

and wrap them up with an aluminum foil.

After about 30 minutes, they wash my hair and dry my hair, you know, just normal hair dying routine.

This is how intense is the pink when it freshly dye them :)

Looks pret-tay right? Haha!

Too bad that pink color is an artificial color and they won't stay on for long. They last me for about 1 month only. Everytime I wash my hair, the pink color will come off. It's like, the whole bathroom floor is pink *fun* ! The color will keep drop until 3-4 weeks, it depends. To get this beautiful pink, I have to re-dye like...every month WTF! But of course I am trying not to go until that stage cause I don't want to spoil my hair that much!

Here's a picture of the latest me, my pink hair...today (February 11th, 2014)

As you can see, the ends of my pink hair has fade until white in color!!! It's like, I have done dip dye LOL! I will remove the pink highlights in the future. I won't keep them for too long time cause I will get bored with it. Maybe I will keep just 1 or 2 strands of it? I dunno... I just miss my previous even and nice hair color :'( I feel that my hair color is in total mess right now sigh... But I don't regret it, at least I have fun with it^^

That's all for today~ Maybe I will do a FAQs about my hair post in the future :) Cause many of you ask a lot about my hair such as, what shampoo I use, how I take care my hair, did I go to hair salon and do hair treatment etc. Stay tune and thank you for reading♥
