Halloween Make Up Tutorial: Stitched Mouth

Hello lovelies

Halloween is just around the corner! Are you excited? Cause I am :) Too bad my home town doesn't celebrate Halloween as other country but I'm still excited for it and I'm thinking if me and my friends gonna hang out on Halloween, I'm gonna make up this Stitched Mouth look haha!

If you are interested on how to achieve this look. Please keep on scowling^^
Trust me, this is super easy and you don't even need to purchase any latex or fake blood *wink*

1. Using any black eyeliner you have, roughly sketch a line from the corner of your mouth. It's up to you how long your mouth wanna get ripped/cut.
2. Don't forget to paint the inner part of your mouth too with the same black eyeliner to make it more realistic.
3. Next, using a brown paint, using dabbing motion, around the black line you just drew.
4. This step is important. Use your finger to dab as you are blending the brown paint so it won't look fake. Make sure it looks patchy!

After that, you will have something like picture shown above. Don't forget to dab some of the brown paint on your lips too!
5. Continue using a red paint this time, repeat step 3 & 4.
6. After that, use the same brown paint, draw some dots around the line.
7. Don't forget to add some red paint on the dots you drew too, for more realistic looking. And you will have something like picture 7.
8. Get any black string / thread, make sure it's thick enough so others can see well, measure how long is the upper dot and lower dot that you drew and cut the string / thread.
9. Using any eyelash adhesive, apply it to the dots.

10. Carefully place the string / thread that you measured and cut on to the dot with eyelash adhesive that applied previously.
You can even make X cross and you will have something like picture shown above.
11. Now this is the fun part, adding the fake blood! Use any red paint, draw on some blood drooping.
12. To make it more real, add some clear gloss onto the drooping blood. It gives a bit of shine, not like flat on the skin.

And you are finished!

Here is a zoom zoom :)

Products used:

Black eyeliner : You can use any kind of black eyeliner you have or prefer, pencil, gel, liquid, as you like.
Clear lipgloss
Eyelash adhesive
Black string / thread
Body art paint in red, brown and black(if you want to): If you can't find any body paint, you can actually use eyeshadow. Remember to make it patchy looking cause we don't need to look perfect.

Easy right? Haha! Now you can go out and have fun!

*Ouch!*

*Make sure not to hurt yourself*

Forgot to mention that it's kinda difficult to talk with this look cause when you try to open your mouth widely, the string / thread will come off ><

If you try this look for Halloween, take a picture and share it with me! I like to see your picture :)

Good luck

xoxo

  3. Hello, I was curious as to attaching the thread on. I was thinking about making a cosplay, and I was wondering if the eyelash adhesive is harmful to the skin or how long it holds? I need it to hold for 8 hours straight with no reapplication. The reason I ask is because I usually use spirit gum for cosplay, but every time I pull it off, it stings badly. Also, it takes a while for it to dry
