[ Review ] Jolen Creme Bleach

Today I am going to review one of my recent find product - Jolen Creme Bleach. As you guys know that I had dyed my hair into lighter shade recently, and the shade of my eyebrows are no longer the same shade as my hair. So everytime I go out, I have to use a eyebrow mascara to cover my dark brows. One day I feel it was quite a hassle for my make up routine. I saw a lot of Japanese models do actually bleach their eyebrows just to match their hair color. They use this Jolen creme bleach and my mind straightly go "DING DING DING!" I got to have that thing!

So I finally bought it few weeks ago and found some time to try it :) Enough with the talking and let's start the review~


❤ Packaging ❤

 

The creme bleach comes in a green box with white lining. I got the mild formula one for my sensitive skin.

At the side of the packaging, you can see it's manufactured date, expire date and ingredients too. No worries guys, this creme bleach is very safe for sensitive skin and will not harm your skin *thumbs up*

Inside, we have 28g of creme bleach, 7g of accelerator, instructions, a spatula and a mixing palette. I think that Jolen is very considerate cause they included the mixing palette and the spatula so you don't need to hassle and find them yourself. But I didn't use their mixing palette, you will know why later :)


❤ Texture ❤

The accelerator is actually looks like salt and sugar as you can see above. When you open the lid of the accelerator, you can smell those bleach scent, but lighter, not as strong as when you go to the hair salon and bleach your hair those awful scent.

As for the creme bleach, it's something like in between of moisturizer and beeswax texture.


❤ Direction of Use ❤

1. Mix the accelerator with the creme bleach in a ratio of 1:3 on the mixing palette they provide. I use a plastic small bowl for mixing cause I find it much more easier for me to do the mixing.

2. Apply the mixture on the area that want to lighten and leave it for 10 short minutes. If you have thick or very dark hair, you can add another 5 minutes. In this process, I can feel a tiny bit of tingling feel on my eyebrow. It was bearable so nothing to be afraid of.

3. After 10 minutes, use the spatula to wipe of the mixture and wash it with cold water.

And voila!
Easy right? haha :D


❤ Overall ❤

I actually like this product. You can see that after I bleached my eyebrow, it doesn't looks like golden shade but a light honey brown just like my hair color. I drew my eyebrow with eyebrow pencil just to let you guys see it really matches the color well. For your information, this creme bleach not only for eyebrow but also suitable for facial hair!

         Leaves skin and hair feeling soft
         Lightens hair really well and super quick
         Easy application  - comes with a spatula, a mixing palette and a direction list
         Affordable price cause you only need a tiny bit. So it last for a long time *thumbs up*
