I hope you all are doing well :D
So, today's make up is inspired by Katy Perry's Dark Horse music video. I absolutely love all of her make up looks! They are all playful (for me) and fun! The look that inspires me is the one when Katy is sitting on her throne.
Let's start!
1. Using a pencil brush, sketch a V-shape at the outer corner of the eyelid with a purple eyeshadow.
2. Fill in the purple eyeshadow about 1/3 of the eyelid.
3. Using a big fluffy blending brush, apply a lighter purple eyeshadow to blend out the edges.
4. With a creamy beige-y pink eyeshadow, apply it under the brow bone for highlight.
5. Apply a yellow tone orange at the center of the eyelid. Slowly blending inward.
6. Apply a darker purple color to intensify the previous purple eyeshadow and to create some definition.
7. With the same yellow tone orange, slowly blend when 2 of the eyeshadow colors meet for gradation effect.
8. Spray some MAC's fix+ on a brush and apply a shimmery light light gold eyeshadow at the inner corner of the eyelid.
9. Draw a long and dramatic wing eyeliner.
10. Slowly, using the eyeliner sketch along the crease and join both liner at the end of the wing liner.
11. Define the eyeliner and draw slightly thicker at the end of the wing as shown in picture11.
12. On the left eye, draw a fishtail liner without joining the upper liner. Leave some space when draw the lower liner.
This is where the tricky and fun part! I hope you all understand the steps :)
13. Draw a hook at the front of the lower eyeliner.
14. As for the right eye, draw the same fishtail liner and stop at the half way.
15. Carefully draw the lower liner slightly downwards for an eye-open effect.
16. At the middle of the lower liner, draw a short line straight down.
17. Then...I have no idea how to explain this. Just draw like the egypt thingy with a hook face outward. LOL!
18. Apply the same light light gold eyeshadow at the inner corner of both eyes.
19. Apply the leftover space with a glitter liner. Even in the middle of the fishtail liner.
20. Apply glitter on the entire upper eyelid and shine like a disco ball LOL!
21. Apply false lashes for the fluttery eyelash and you are finished!
This is how the eye make up looks like when closing the eye. And I wore an old wig just to...have fun with the look haha!!! Here's the finish eye make up look.
I should have draw the eyeliner thicker :(
For the lips, I use a plum color lipstick and a soft peachy pink blush to complete the look~
