[ Review ] Barbie Eyesland Contact Lenses

How is everyone doing? I hope all are well :D

Barbie Eyesland is so generous to send me 3 pairs my choice of contact lenses on their website and I must compliment their shipping was F.A.S.T. After receiving and wearing them for few days, it's time to tell you all of my thoughts about the contact lenses.

I'm sure many of you(we, Malaysian) are no stranger to the brand Barbie Eyesland since they have been in business in the year 2012. They are famous for having a wide range of contact lenses, 100% authentic, super natural looking, high-quality, and not to mention, super affordable price!

But, are they really what they claim to be?
We will find out soon *wink*

Before I start sharing my thoughts on them, I want to mention

HOW CUTE ARE THEIR PACKAGING❤

You know I'm a sucker for cute packaging. I could just stare at them all day LOL.

Okay, calm down Elly, calm down *heavy-breathing*




Each contact lenses comes with its own little bottle container for hygiene purpose. Their contact lenses are 3 months disposable, which I like. Unlike most of the contact lenses in the market, which is 1 month disposable. I honestly find 1 month disposable is very inconvenient as I don't like to keep changing my contact lenses every single month.

At the back of the packaging, you will find instructions about the contact lenses. I find it very helpful and thoughtful of them to have this instruction on the packaging for the first time contact lens user.

Did I mention they give free casing for every pair of contact lens you purchase? That's a plus *thumbs up*
I ordered all my contact lenses in brown color, cause I'm basic AF hahaha! I wear contact lens to work most of the time. So I don't wish to shook my colleagues or my boss coming to work with fancy gray eyes or blue eyes LOL. And I need to put on some pretty makeup to pull off gray or blue contact lenses. I have no time for that when I am constantly rushing for work. So brown contact lens is perfect for me when I want something natural but still look decent.

The contact lenses in the picture shown above judging by their look, it can be a little bit too much but, trust me, when you wear them, they look very natural.


// Oh My Jewel //
It might look like a bit too much with all the patterns on the lens, but when wearing them on the eyes, they look super natural, like my own eyes but with dimension. No one will ever know you are wearing contact lenses unless they stare at your eyes in a very close distance.

// Oh My Moon //
My all time favorite design❤ Your eyes will look like mixed blood and yet, natural. I often get a lot of question about what contact lens do I wear and here is your answer, Oh My Moon design. I like the fact that I can look decent whenever I wear this design with only under eye concealer. LOVE!

// Oh My Spark //
I must be honest that when I first saw this, I was a bit disappointed. Because I don't like the harsh black outer rim on my contact lens as it can look very unnatural and fake. To my surprise, this design doesn't look fake on the eyes. It gives the natural dolly look with enlarging effect. There is a small disturbance I find with one of this lens. I feel slightly uncomfortable when I wear. Not sure whether is it one of my eye feels tired or what :(

I swear that I got 3 brown color contact lenses. Somehow the ring light made //Oh My Jewel// and //Oh My Moon// look like I'm wearing green color contact lenses *scratch head*

Sorry that my eyes look a bit reddish and tired. My eyes are tired from keep changing contact lenses in a short amount of time. But as you can see, there is not much difference between //Oh My Spark// and //Oh My Jewel//. They look basically almost the same in real life if I didn't point them out. The slight difference are the //Oh My Spark// has a bit of enlarging effect and it doesn't give a lot of dimension to the eye; While the //Oh My Jewel// doesn't give any eye enlarging effect (in my point of view) in real life, it looks like my own eyes but with slight dimension to it.

I was able to wear their contact lenses in straight 8 hours without my eyes feeling dry. But I don't recommend to wear them over 6 or 8 hours straight. We need to give our eyes some rest honey. And if you are in an air-conditioned room, it is better to keep your moisturizing eye drop beside you. The air-conditioned room tends to dry our eyes faster and our skin as well. So don't forget to keep yourself hydrated at all times.


So, do I recommend Barbie Eyesland?
Yes.
