Valentine's Day Nail Art Tutorial ft Born Pretty

Let's transform your nails into a lovely work of art in this coming Valentine's Day with this easy DIY nail art :D

Today I am going to show you how to easily create this lovely lace nail art using Born Pretty nail stamp plate.

The stamp plate I got here is Born Pretty's Chic Lace Pattern BP-02 and Born Pretty Peel Off Gel Base Coat. If you haven't known yet, Born Pretty is very popular for their vast variety of stamping plate and their pricing is super affordable. Not mention, they offer FREE shipping worldwide ;)

After prepping my nails, first I apply the Born Pretty Peel Off Gel Base Coat on each nail.

Next, cure it under the UV or LED lamp for 60 seconds.

After the base is done, apply your favorite gel pink color. Cure it for another 60 seconds. In this process, it depends on the opacity of your gel polish. Here, I applied mine for 2 layers. When that's done, here's a trick for you if you are going to use stamping nail art : apply a no-wipe top coat and cure it before using the stamping nail art.
With this extra step, whenever you mess up with your stamping nail art, you can easily wipe away the stamping nail art without messing up your color gel nail *wink*

So, how to use the stamping nail art?
First, taking the stamping nail polish, blob some on the surface of the design that you like from the stamping plate. Next, using the scraper, scrape across the design. Then, quickly use the stamper and stamp on the design. You need to act quickly for this step, if you slow a bit, the stamping polish will dry up and you get nothing on your stamper. Don't worry if you mess up, you will succeed after a few practices just like me :) After that, stamp the design onto your nail.

Of course, there will be some mess after stamping the nail art on the nail. Don't worry, a quick clean up will do by using a cotton bud will some nail polish remover.

Here's how it looks like with the pretty lace stamp design. I absolutely adore it❤
You can finish the look by applying a gel top coat. But I am going to spice up the design a bit by adding some bling hehe

I'm going to add some pearls and shiny stones on the nails that are without the lace stamping. After I'm happy with the design, I'm going to apply a no-wipe gel top coat and cure it.

and voila!


I add a big heart shaped stone with a pearl and tiny stone on the ring finger just to bring out the Valentine's Day vibe to it XP
