Unboxing My Birthday Bag 2019 | Chanel Classic Mini Flap Bag❤

Hello my angels ❤

I am literally screaming inside as I am writing this post although I already bought this gift since last year (Yes, you heard me right. I'd bought my birthday gift since last year LOL!). It's nothing wrong to buy yourself a birthday gift, we work hard and we deserve to spoil ourselves especially on our special day. You can imagine me grinning from ear to ear right now. I know I look stupid at the moment but it is so hard for me to contain myself XP I can't believe that finally, I bought my very first Chanel bag!!!

I've been saving my hard earn money for some time now and Chanel has been steadily increasing their price each year. I know that if I don't make the purchase now, the price will be ridiculously high and I might spend my money on other bags XP

Okay, enough with the rambling. Today, I am here to unbox my birthday bag woohoo!
If you like to see what I purchased, come and join me unbox my birthday bag :D

So, everything is nicely packed in a shopping bag, and I mean a huge shopping bag. Not sure why they need such a huge one just for a mini bag though. But it's okay, not complaining here XP

And here comes my baby love❤

I really love how they wrap the box, every detail with the Chanel ribbon and the Chanel camellia flower in the middle are just perfect! Let's unwrap the ribbon :D

So, inside the box, we have the receipt, the care instruction booklet, and the bag itself which still in the dust bag.

The receipt has its own little holder with Chanel and camellia flower embossed in the front. I'm not going to show the receipt and the price here cause I know there are people who felt offensive/sensitive about the whole price tag. Hence, I'm not going to show the price of the bag as all of my previous bag unboxings. If you are curious about the price, you may Google it or drop me a message.

Next, we have the care instruction booklet. Inside has the care guide with many different languages and a Chanel bag cleaning cloth.

Not sure what material they use for this bag cleaning cloth cause it is sooo smooth to touch!

And here is the dust bag. I am pretty sure they changed their dust bag recently. I don't remember they use ribbon drawstring dust bag in the previous. But it's okay as long as it keeps the bag from dust when I store it.

Ta-dah~!!!

It is a Chanel Classic Mini Rectangular Flap Bag with gold hardware in caviar leather, my dream bag❤
Compare with the vintage Chanel bags, they don't do the gold hardware as before anymore like the buttery gold color. Hence, there is no signs or marking on the CC logo. To me, it looks more like champagne light gold color and with different lighting, the hardware will look like silver in color. Which makes it very versatile :D

This is how the back of the bag looks like. It has the iconic slip pocket which I think I will put my receipts or parking ticket into it.

This is the side and the bottom of the bag looks like.

A closer look at the bag. The caviar leather is so shiny and the reason why it's called caviar leather is because of the grainy texture that it has. I chose caviar leather for my first Chanel bag is because caviar leather fends off scratches and it is very strong compared to lambskin. The lambskin leather is very classy looking, undeniably beautiful and very soft to touch, but yet very fragile and needs a lot of extra care when using it. I don't want my first Chanel bag to be all scratched up so that's why I chose caviar over lambskin. But I might be going to purchase my second Chanel bag in lambskin leather hehe. We will see *wink*

A closeup shot of the CC logo turn lock. Isn't it gorgeous❤

This mini bag has a single flap only, unlike other bigger size that has 2 option to choose, double flap and single flap.

Behind the CC logo hardware, you will find Chanel Paris embossed on it with 2 screws.

Since this is a single flap bag, it has only one big compartment in it with a slip pocket and a zip pocket to place your important items. On the slip pocket, there is a Chanel logo and the country where the bag is made from stamped on in gold color. For my bag, it is made from Italy. As for the zipper, it has the CC logo embossed to it and Chanel logo on the other side.

In the zip pocket is where the Chanel authenticity card placed. The authentic card has gold color printed along the side of the card. As for the fake one, I saw they use holo printed along the side of the card. At the back of the authenticity card is where you find the bag serial number. Mine here is series 26. The serial number tells you which year the bag was made. You can google Chanel serial number and you will learn more about it.

If you look closely enough, at the right-hand side upper corner, there is the Chanel CC logo printed on it to identify it is an authentic card. Nowadays, the counterfeit card is very similar to the authentic one. Doesn't matter you buy from the Chanel boutique or personal shopper, we still need to pay some attention to every little detail. We are paying over 10 thousand ringgit for a handbag here, not a few thousand, and we don't want to get our money to be cheated.

The serial number from the authenticity card should match the serial number of the bag itself. The original serial number sticker should have 2 CC logo on top of the serial number.

That is everything about the interior of the bag.

For the strap, even the leather of the strap is caviar leather, shiny shiny :D
The strap has some weight to it and it is very sturdy.

For the minis, the strap is attached to the side of the bag.

And that's all for my birthday bag unboxing!
I am head over the heels for this mini bag. It is so damn difficult to buy one since it is a popular bag. I have to email the Chanel boutique from Malaysia to Hong Kong just to hunt for this bag. If you are thinking to purchase this bag from a trusted personal shopper, you need to act FAST as this bag sells like hotcakes, unless you opt for pre-loved. I believe the price for pre-loved is under 10 thousand ringgit, much much cheaper, but still, it depends on the color of the leather, the types of the leather and the color of the hardware. It always out of stock for caviar leather in gold hardware and the waiting list is LONG (not as long as Hermes though), it really tests our patience.

I am really grateful to be able to found this baby and I am going to cherish it forever. My mum complaint that this bag is so damn small for the price I pay. But it is the perfect size for me as I am very petite, 150cm tall only. Although this is a mini bag, it does fit all of my essentials. I do need to buy a new wallet to fit into this mini bag though, not a huge problem, it can be solved easily. Other than that, the only negative about this bag is the length of the strap. It is so friggin' long I tell you, it lands below my bottom if I carry this bag on my shoulder. Even I carry it by crossbody, the strap is still too long for me. But if you are taller than me, it should be just fine :)

I hope you enjoy my unboxing and thank you for everyone who wishes me Happy Birthday via Facebook, Instagram, and private message. I felt very blessed and forever grateful for everything, especially my boy, 2 and a half day of birthday celebration non-stop is not easy :D Love you to the moon and back❤

Have a pleasant day my angels!

Love,

** D I S C L A I M E R **
This is no way of me trying to brag about how fortunate I am. The only reason I am posting this is I wanted this to be like an online diary, a moment to remember that my hard work does pay off at the end. So that in the future, I will work harder. I pay every penny for this bag and am not sponsored by anyone. My boy finds it silly of me the need to clarify things up, but I had to because I know some people like to talk shit about it. It is not fair for me being targeted while people don't really know the facts and the truth. Still, I wanted to thank you for those who have been supporting me for a long time, it is valued and appreciated more than you can imagine Xoxo
